The 10 Actors Living Inside You: Discover Your Multi-Faceted Self Through Astrology’s 10 Planets
Hi there! I'm Aries Yoko, your astrologer.
When we say, "You're an Aries, so you have a passionate personality," in astrology, it means the "Sun" was in Aries at the moment you were born.
However, within your actual heart, there are nine other major planets shining besides the Sun, each playing a different role. Today, let’s unravel what aspects of you these "10 Celestial Bodies" in your horoscope reflect.
Planets are "Actors" on Your Stage
In astrology, we compare the planets to "actors," the zodiac signs to "costumes and character settings," and the houses to the "stage where they perform." Within you, there are 10 actors living together, each moving your life forward.
1. "Personal Planets" Shaping Your Daily Character
First, let's look at the five stars directly related to your daily personality and behavior.
- The Sun: Life Purpose and Will. Your face as the "protagonist." It represents your "purpose"—how you want to carve out your life and who you want to be.
- The Moon: Emotions and Private Life. Your "true face" and "subconscious." It governs where you feel safe and your natural reactions when relaxed.
- Mercury: Intellect and Communication. Your "words" and "way of thinking." It tells us about your information-gathering habits, speaking style, and learning patterns.
- Venus: Love, Abundance, and Joy. Your "spark." What you love and what you find value in. Romantic tendencies, hobbies, and financial senses appear here.
- Mars: Action, Passion, and Anger. Your "gasoline." The energy to move toward goals, the power to push your opinions, and where your "motivation switch" is located.
2. "Social Planets" Governing Your Connection with Society
Next are the two stars that watch over how you grow within society.
- Jupiter: Expansion, Development, and Luck. Your "cheerleader." A positive planet that shows where luck lies and how you can expand your possibilities.
- Saturn: Trials, Discipline, and the Power to Manifest. Your "strict teacher." Though you may feel a sense of inadequacy at times, overcoming this through time builds an unshakable foundation for your life.
3. "Trans-Saturnian Planets" Governing Eras and Deep Change
Finally, the three stars that bring deep transformation or cosmic inspiration beyond individual power.
- Uranus: Reform, Originality, and Awakening. The "revolutionary" within you. The star that gives you the trigger to break old common sense and update yourself.
- Neptune: Dreams, Illusions, and Inspiration. The "dreamer" within you. It dissolves invisible boundaries and shows you artistic sensibilities or ideal worlds.
- Pluto: Destruction and Rebirth, Fundamental Transformation. Your "ultimate guardian." It holds a powerful hidden strength that can reset everything to let you be reborn as a stronger self.
How to Use This for Creation and Self-Analysis
When you feel lost because "opinions are divided within yourself," imagine that the planets are having a meeting.
- "Venus is saying 'Let's buy this!' but Teacher Saturn is stopping me, saying 'Save your money'..."
- "Mercury is trying to 'explain logically,' but the Moon is crying, saying 'I'm too sad for words'..."
If you personify yourself this way, don't you think even your struggling self becomes quite endearing?
