When in Doubt, Ask the Tarot! Perfect "Creative Growth Tips" Just for You
Hi there! I'm Aries Yoko, the fortune-telling manga artist.
When you're drawing or writing stories... creating something inevitably leads to hitting a wall sometimes, doesn't it? At times like that, I recommend asking the Tarot: "What kind of practice method do I need right now?"
If these cards appear, they might be special messages to make your talent shine even brighter.
1. If "The Magician" Appears
With all the tools laid out on the table, this card signals the perfect timing to try new tools or techniques!
- Challenging yourself with art supplies or apps you’ve never used before will instantly broaden your range of expression.
- Don't think "Is it too early for me?" Just touching and trying them is the shortest path to improvement.
2. If "The Star" Appears
The card of sparkling stars is a sign to cherish your inspiration.
- Don't get too caught up in technique; trust your intuition when you feel "Ah, I love this!" and give it shape.
- Keep your ideals high and immerse yourself in the works of creators you admire—it will be a wonderful stimulus.
3. If "The Hermit" Appears
This card, holding up a quiet lamp, tells you that you need time to reflect deeply on yourself.
- Forget about external evaluations for a moment. Immerse yourself in basic practice or look back at your past works.
- It might seem lonely, but this "time to dig deep inside" is what builds your unique artistic style.
4. If "The Chariot" Appears
The chariot charging forward means it's time to prioritize "Quantity over Quality!"
- Put your perfectionism to rest for a while. The secret to improving is to keep putting your work out there, even if it's unfinished.
- By continuing to output without stopping, the techniques will naturally become second nature to you.
Which Card Opens Your "Creative Door"?
Tarot doesn't force an "answer" on you; it's a partner that gently pushes you forward. Even if you don't have cards on hand, it's okay.
