Reset Your Restless Mind: A Beginner’s Guide to "Gentle Meditation" and Mindfulness
Hi there! I'm Aries Yoko, your fortune teller and psychological counselor.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by work, chores, and endless social media notifications, thinking, "Argh! My head is too full!"?
In times like those, the easiest way to help yourself is "Meditation" (Mindfulness). People often think it's difficult or like some intense training, but it's actually very simple. Today, I’ll tell you how to realign your heart in a way that even beginners can start right now.
🧘♂️ What Exactly is Mindfulness?
In a nutshell, mindfulness is a state of directing 100% of your awareness to "this very moment."
If left alone, our minds tend to wander—worrying about future tasks or regretting past mistakes. Mindfulness is the act of bringing that scattered mind back to the "here and now."
🌿 No Equipment Needed! A "3-Minute Casual Meditation" Step-by-Step
You don't need special poses or a long time. These three steps are all it takes:
- Sit with a straight back: On a chair or the floor is fine. Take a deep breath and let your shoulders relax.
- Focus on your breath: Close your eyes lightly (or keep them open) and just follow the sensation of air passing through your nose into your lungs and back out.
- If distracting thoughts pop up: If you think, "What should I have for dinner?", just acknowledge it—"Oh, I just thought about food"—and let it be. Then, gently bring your focus back to your breath.
That’s it! The goal isn't to stop thoughts from appearing; the act of noticing your mind has wandered and bringing it back is, in itself, "muscle training" for your brain.
✨ Receive the Next Hint Once Your Mind is Clear
When the clutter in your head is cleared through meditation, your intuition becomes sharper. That is actually the best timing for a "message from the cards" to reach you deeply.
"What advice do I need right now?" "What kind of fortune is flowing my way?"
When you draw a Tarot card with a quiet heart, the "true feelings of your soul"—which you might normally miss—can sometimes pop right out.
In Closing
Even just three minutes a day of creating a time to be "empty" can make the world look a little kinder. Why not start with just one deep breath?
